Hugo is Junior Language Challenge Finalist!

Congratulations to Hugo, one of our J2 (Year 4) pupils, who took part in the semi-final of the Junior Language Challenge at Lymm High School On Thursday 25th September and has made it through to the Grand Final!

Hugo, who studied Dutch and Vietnamese to qualify for the semi-final, was one of only 3 children out of over 2000 who entered from the Granada region, to make it through to the final stage of the competition, which will take place in London during October Half Term.

Hugo has just 5 weeks to learn Zulu, the language chosen for the Grand Final. About 30 children from all over the UK will take part in the competition; the winner will win a family trip to Africa. We wish Hugo the best of luck in his latest challenge! For more pictures of Hugo’s winning day click here.
