While teachers and pupils have been enjoying their Easter holidays the estate team have been working on all parts of the school literally from top to bottom!
We have continued the refurbishment and insulation of the western side of the main roof with Mike Bartlett, this continues the work Mike did last Easter on the northern side.
In the basement Simon Peters brickwork have removed the old lathe and plaster ceiling and replaced it with fire proof plaster board.
ASC have been working on the new entrance to the school for pupils. This will mean that children can get into the main building without having to go through the hall. That will please Mrs Arran!
Meanwhile the Kindergarten is getting the lawn recovered with a special play surface from Pentagon play. No more muddy shoes for Mrs Muddiman!
Finally Pinfold systems came in to sort out the cables in the reception. It was becoming a 2nd spaghetti junction.
